We have made every effort to include as much detail as possible in each listing and you are able to message the Host directly to ask additional questions. If you would like to arrange a recce this is at the discretion of each individual location so please ask your Host. Recces should be kept short (30 minutes or less) with only 2 or 3 people ideally. No professional photography is permitted during a recce.

Can I have a VAT receipt?
VAT will show on your payment breakdown if your Host is VAT Registered (the majority of Hosts will not be and all rates on the site are inclusive of VAT if applicable).
Can I ask the Host questions before booking?
Yes. You can message Hosts directly to enquire about availability or if you have any specific questions that are not answered on the property page. All of your messages are saved in your Creator Dashboard.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event you need to cancel your Booking, you should contact the Host (via the Styled Home Studios messaging platform) with as much notice as possible. The shorter the notice you provide, the lower the refund you will be entitled to, as follows: If you cancel more than 7 days before your booking, you will be refunded the full booking price (less the 8% Service Charge). If you cancel your Booking between 48 hours and 7 days before your Booking, you will be refunded 50% of the booking Charge (less the 8% Service Charge). If you cancel your Booking within 48 hours of the Booking, you forfeit the full Booking Price + 8% service charge. On the rare occasion where a Host must cancel a booking you will not be charged. Could my home be a Styled Home Studios location?

How do you process booking payments?
We use Stripe Connect to process all bookings. Stripe is a trusted payment gateway used by companies worldwide and their terms and privacy policy apply.
How Does The Booking Process Work?
You will receive a notification of a new Booking Request via email with a link to your Styled Home Studios Dashboard, where you can manage all of your properties and bookings. Simply Accept or Reject the booking and the platform will manage the payment and communication with your Creator. Please remember that you have 7 days to accept a booking, after which the booking will time out and be rejected.
What is your cancellation policy?
Should the Creator cancel their booking more than 7 days before the shoot/event date, you will not receive the Booking Fee. If they cancel the Booking between 48 hours and 7 days before the Booking, you will be receive 50% of the Booking Fee (less the SHS 15% Commission). If they cancel the Booking within 48 hours of the Booking, you will receive the full Booking Fee (less the SHS 15% Commission). On the rare occasion where you must cancel a booking, the Creator will be refunded and you will not receive any of the Booking Fee. For more details please see our cancellation policy.
What does being a Styled Home Studios Host involve?
Being a Styled Home Studios Host is a fun and exciting way to earn additional income from your home. We manage the booking process and payment so you don’t need to worry about the admin and chasing invoices etc. As a Host you are in control of keeping your listing accurate and up-to-date as well as responding swiftly to the enquires and booking requests you receive. You should also ensure that your space is prepared, clean and tidy on the day of the booking with someone ready to greet the crew at the time you have mutually agreed. When are my details made available to the Creator?
The address of your property is only released to the Creator once you have approved their booking and they have paid in full. They will receive your address via email and you will be able to message them directly from your Dashboard.
