By booking an event through Styled Home Studios, you (“client,” “organiser,” or “guest”) agree to adhere to this policy in conjunction with our general terms and conditions.
- Event Types Allowed
Our platform is designed for creative and professional uses, subject to property owner approval, including but not limited to:
– Photoshoots (commercial and editorial)
– Film and video production
– Content creation (social media, digital campaigns)
– Corporate events (product launches, workshops)
– Influencer events (small community and content creation events)
Please note that events involving large public gatherings, loud activities, or hazardous materials are not permitted.
- Event Approval Process
Each event request is subject to approval by the property owner. Event organisers are required to provide detailed information about the event, including but not limited to:
– Purpose of the event
– Number of attendees
– Equipment to be used
– Timetable (setup, event duration, and breakdown)
– Catering or alcohol (if applicable)
Some locations may have specific restrictions regarding the types of events they can accommodate, based on the nature of the property or local regulations.
- Event Size & Capacity
– Each property listed on Styled Home Studios will have a maximum capacity, as specified by the property owner, which must be strictly adhered to. Overcrowding beyond the property’s stated capacity can result in cancellation or immediate termination of the event without a refund.
- Timing and Noise Restrictions
– Event Timing: The duration of the event must fall within the hours agreed upon at the time of booking. Any overtime will incur additional fees, subject to our overtime policy outlined in our terms and conditions.
– Noise Levels: Noise must be kept within reasonable limits, and organisers must comply with any noise ordinances or restrictions imposed by the property owner or local authorities. Failure to control noise may result in penalties or termination of the event.
- Insurance Requirements
For any event booked through Styled Home Studios, event organisers are required to provide proof of public liability insurance to cover any potential damages to the property or harm to attendees. The insurance policy must meet the following criteria:
– Coverage of at least £1,000,000 for general liability.
Failure to provide the required insurance documentation if requested may result in the cancellation of the booking without a refund.
- Event Modifications & Cancellations
– Modifications: Any changes to the event details (e.g., number of guests, timing, or scope) must be communicated in writing via the platform and approved by the property owner and Styled Home Studios. Additional fees may apply for modifications.
– Cancellations: Cancellations must be made according to our cancellation policy. Cancellation fees or refunds will be processed as per the terms outlined in our terms and conditions.
- Health and Safety Compliance
Event organisers must comply with all health and safety regulations, including fire safety, public health, and emergency procedures. It is the organiser’s responsibility to ensure that all vendors, contractors, and attendees are aware of and adhere to these guidelines.
- Alcohol, Catering, and Vendor Guidelines
– Alcohol: Serving alcohol may require a special permit, and organisers are responsible for acquiring any necessary licenses. Alcohol may only be served to individuals of legal drinking age, and no overconsumption will be permitted. The property owner reserves the right to prohibit alcohol at their discretion.
– Catering: If catering is involved, event organizers must ensure that food vendors are properly licensed and adhere to all health codes.
– Vendors: Any external vendors (e.g, caterers, lighting, etc.) must be approved by the property owner and must provide necessary permits or insurance where applicable.
- Property Care and Clean-Up
– Care: Event organisers are responsible for keeping the property in good condition throughout the event. Any damages caused during the event are the financial responsibility of the organiser.
– Clean-Up: Organisers must ensure that the property is returned to its original state after the event. Clean-up must be completed within the agreed booking time. If the organiser fails to clean the property, a cleaning fee may be charged separately.
- Damage and Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required by the property owner to cover potential damages. This deposit will be refunded after the event, provided there is no damage to the property or violation of these terms. If damages occur, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the deposit, and any excess amounts will be billed to the organiser.
- Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited during events hosted at properties listed on Styled Home Studios:
– Any illegal activities, including drug use or underage drinking.
– Any activities that pose a risk to property, public health, or safety.
– Smoking indoors, unless the property permits it in designated areas.
– Unauthorized alterations to the property, such as drilling, hanging decorations that damage surfaces, or permanent modifications.
- Indemnification
All parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless Styled Home Studios from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event, including but not limited to personal injuries, property damage, or legal disputes involving third-party vendors or guests.
- Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from the use of a property for an event, Styled Home Studios will work with the property owner and event organiser to facilitate an amicable resolution. However, Styled Home Studios is not liable for any legal disputes or claims that may arise between the parties.
